A match for the Wall AC

Designed in several shapes and sizes Snowbreeze 1 runs a stream of compressed air for 100 to 150 feet through aluminium grooves fitted in a separate casing around an aluminium drum packed with ice. It keeps the room cooled and dehumidified for about 10 hours when it has to be refilled with ice after draining out condensed air.

Every middle-class family should have a Snowbreeze unit which can be rolled from room to room. Those with easy access to home delivered ice can have a unit in every room.

Mini-Snowbreeze is A Mini-Bomb for Heat and Cold

Elderly people with limited means need not die of heat or cold for lack of facilities to cope with the weather and power breakdowns. Invented by an 80-years old man in similar circumstances, Mini-Snowbreeze is a cheap (Rs.2,500-$50) mild air conditioner which can run on an inverter and keep a small room cool and dehumidified for eight to ten hours with “free” ice from the family fridge. In winter its 300-watt halogen bulb can keep the room warm with humidified hot air. It too can run for hours on an inverter.

A Mini-Snowbreeze kit can be packed in a card board carton (12'x30') to be assembled by the user or even School children.

A unique self-cooling AC

Snowbreeze-2 is a unique cooling device the like of which has never been invented before. It harnesses the self-cooling energy of water in conjunction with ice.

Based on the centuries old self-cooling ‘matka' (pitcher) principle, which sets in motion an automatic convection current in a water body, we have developed a mild people's Airconditioner which uses both ice and ice-cold water from the fridge. It is cheap to build and easily affordable by every one. Unless filled solely with ice, it does not chill you to the bone but, nevertheless, keeps blowing cold air into your room without mixing in it the slightest trace of humidity which is the bane of other water based cooling devices like the desert cooler. Nor does it waste a drop of the water it uses.

An improvement upon Snowbreeze 1, Snowbreeze 3 combines the use of ice and ice-cold water, placed in separate compartments. This enables the user to instantly regulate the inputs for each occasion, depending upon their availability, the degree of cooling required and its duration.

Snowbreeze 3 has been designed to utilize the optimum cooling power of a refrigerator, small or large, reduce or eliminate dependence on an ice-vendor and simplify the manufacturing process.
